Quickstart
This walks you from a fresh account to your first Jax-driven design in under ten minutes.
1. Create a project
From Projects → New, pick a starting agent skill (FTTH, water, electric, etc.) or describe what you’re building in natural language — Jax will pick a matching skill and set up your project.
Each project gets its own Globe view and its own Jax session.
2. Set the area
Open the Globe. Use search or zoom to your area of interest, then draw a polygon to scope the project. The polygon is saved into your project — you can reuse it, edit it, or hand it to Jax later.
3. Talk to Jax
Open the Jax panel. Try a domain-shaped request:
- FTTH: “Generate a feeder + distribution network for every household in this polygon.”
- Water: “Lay out a pressurized network from the existing main, respecting elevation.”
- Electric: “Add a 15kV feeder loop with branch fuses every 200 meters.”
Jax plans the work, runs it, and streams the result onto the Globe. The map updates live as Jax works.
4. Inspect, refine, ask why
Click any feature on the Globe to inspect it. Right-click to pin it into the Jax conversation as context. Then ask Jax things like:
- “Why did you pick this splitter location?”
- “What changes if cabinet capacity drops to 144 ports?”
- “Cost-optimize the trench layout — keep the same coverage.”
You see every step. Nothing is hidden.
5. Export
When you’re happy, export your project as GeoJSON, KML, or a vendor-specific format from Project → Export. Field crews use the Nexma mobile app to receive work orders directly from the same project.
