Live data
Nexma ships with dozens of live spatial data sources — flights, ships, weather, threats, sensors, news — that surface on the Globe alongside your project. Pull what’s relevant, leave what isn’t, ask Jax to reason over any of it.
What you can do with it
- Bring real-world context into a design. Overlay weather, traffic, or threat data
to see which assets are exposed and where.
- Pin features into a Jax conversation. Right-click any flight, ship, or weather
cell and pin it as context. Jax now has structured information about that entity and can reason over it.
- Build dashboards next to the map. Tables, charts, and trend lines render alongside
the Globe for any source you opt in to.
What’s in the catalog
A non-exhaustive list of categories shipped today:
- Aviation — live flights, airport status
- Maritime — vessel positions, port congestion
- Weather — radar, severe-weather alerts, forecast surfaces
- Threat / cyber — exposure scanners, network intel feeds
- Earth observation — wildfire detection, vegetation indices
- Mobility — traffic, transit, freight flows
- Markets — commodity prices for relevant verticals (energy, agriculture)
You opt in per project. Sources you don’t enable don’t hit your project.
How it fits with the rest of Nexma
Live data is first-class project content. It renders on the Globe automatically, it’s visible to Jax, and it participates in your usual workflows — search, filter, pin, export. There’s no separate “data layer” to learn; if you can work with your own designs, you can work with live data.
Roadmap
The catalog grows monthly. Customer-requested sources (industry-specific data, BYO APIs, on-prem sensor streams) are typically added within a release cycle.
